We as extra virgin olive oil producers know very well the product and all its benefits. So, apart from everyday personal consumption, we also think of all the people we care for. We conceived and realized a product dedicated to them, our kids: the Organic BIOBABYOIL. Designed for the youngest palates, this olive oil has a sweet, fruity and delicate taste and makes their favorite food even more exciting. A baby can reach the milestones for the optimal growth and the balanced psychomotor development only if accompanied by a correct eating habits. The nutrition during the very first years of child’s life is very important for the future and helps growing up healthy. If our kids get accustomed with extra virgin olive oil, they will grow up continuing to eat it every day, because their palate and brain altogether got used to this flavor and can recognize it among the variety of existing food.

The fats present in extra virgin olive oil have fundamental health benefits:

  • Linoleic acid stimulates the calcium absorption.
  • Transports vitamins A, D, E, K.
  • Phenolic compounds protect from oxidation.
  • Optimal ratio of Omega 3 and Omega 6 equivalent to those present in breast milk. These two fatty acids help maintain a proper balance of metabolism, prevent constipation, improve digestion and calm baby colic.
Some tips: ideally consumed raw without heating, makes food more delicious. Advised since the start of the weaning, adding 1 teaspoon/time (approx. 5 ml) with baby formula, pureed vegetables, soup or broth, pasta or noodles. Recommended for children from 3 months old and up.

  • Olives’ Variety: Gentile di Chieti*, Frantoio*, Leccino*. *Organic
  • Place of origin: Olive trees cultivated on hills in Vasto area, Abruzzo region, Italy.
  • Harvest: Every year from October till December.
  • Harvesting method: Olives are harvested by hand using the stripping method and transported in boxes to the own olive mill and to the partner farms.
  • Production: Olives are washed with jets of water at room temperature and cold-pressed.
  • Extraction process: Continuous, extracted at less than 27⁰C.
  • Storage: in stainless steel tanks at controlled humidity and temperature (max 16-18⁰C).
  • Shelf life: 18 months from bottling. Keep in a cool dry place, far from direct light and heat. Always tap the bottle after use.
  • Quality control: Laboratory analysis and panel tests.
  • Certification Body: I.C.E.A. (Institute for the Ethical & Ambiental Certification, Italy).
ORGANOLEPTIC FEATURES:
  • Acidity: From 0.2 until 0.4 when bottled.
  • Colour: Intense golden yellow with hints of light green.
  • Smell: Distinct smell of olives, slightly fruity, with hints of herbs.
  • Taste: Slightly fruity, delicate and harmonious to the palate. Well-balanced taste. Perfect both raw and for cooking any kind of dish.
